This was an opportune time for blacks to help themselves and each other as well to strengthen the black culture Not a ticket to take over America. Why are so many Black/ African Americans disappointed in President Barack Obama? They should be disappointed at themselves. They could have used those 8 years to their advantage and achieved many accomplishments, objectives, dreams, and goals the lawful way. They missed out on maybe the greatest opportunity of a lifetime. They had all that they needed to progress and succeed and prosper. Also if they were all on the same accord they could have done something meritorious to help the shattered race. They just needed to take the second step and initiate readiness to embark on a new path and strategy to solve the big problems they face. What was they thinking? Did they think that Obama was going to end racism, bigotry, stereotyping and prejudice? On the contrary, those issues will always be lurking somewhere in the dark background and it will always rear its ugly head eventually. You can count on that.
We are all different in race and culture. Some cultures are like cats and dogs, they just can't get along and they shouldn't be mixed. There is common ground that cultures can come together and relate on many things but sometimes its better not to get gather on a personal level. Business is business. It's quite fine to get together to tackle a problem that affects us as a whole united Nation but it should stop right there. Some things we will never understand about each other. You have no idea as to what you are doing when you call yourself befriending or having fun with a person of another race and unknowingly offend them.
Did Black people think that the President was going to ignore and mistreat White Americans and solely tend to Black Americans and their issues, and concerns only? Why in the hell did they get so overly exited about a black man being President? Do they have a problem with the many white Presidents who considered blacks as human equals and stood up for that cause? Did they forget about those men and moreover, can you imagine how many n word lovers they may have have been called. Did they think that he was going to support black power movements and shit? Did they think he was going to side with blacks on all of everything and try to build a Black empire in America? Did they think he was the savior for Black America just as Jesus was the Messiah for His people? Damn near every black person I know voted for Obama but I can't name one who genuinely provided him with the support he so desperately needed. Why did Black people make him out to be some heroic figure and expect the impossible from him. I here the same story everywhere I go; "Obama let us down." I just want to say to those people, pick your damn self up and conform to Gods will or damnation. Nobody's stopping ya. If they would have been more loyal, trustworthy, confident and faithful they may have seen improvements within the Black race. But they didn't know how to act and treat a person of authority and power and they didn't give him a fair chance. They wanted to classify him with Martin Luther King and Malcolm X and they expected for him to behave like them as well. But to their surprise he is dignified and self-respectful. They did a foolish thing by downplaying him and represented him as less than significant or important than a United States President. They hindered themselves by failing to see the big picture and understated the qualities President Obama has and had to offer. Black people wanted him al to themselves. I'm glad he didn't give in to that insulting behavior and paid them no attention. It was rude treatment and I don't think he appreciated that. They want everything to come easy. Black people have a lot to learn.©
